Hey everyone!
My father and I would like to travel around ontario for a month starting in july. We have a car and camping gear, we love couchsurfing and meeting amazing people, checking out cool amazing naturesque parts of the world and we're ready to travel our home province finally.

PLease let me know what you suggest is best and places to see, eat at, markets, water spots, couchsurfers, etc.

thank you
Doris

Hi Doris,

I just wanted to say that it's a great idea to travel with your father. Lucky father! And it reminded me of trips I made with my daughter across Canada -- Calgary & Vancouver in 1998, the Maritimes in 1999 -- and Jamaica in 2000, when she was still a teenager. Because my daughter is allergic to eggs we had to avoid restaurants which brought me to discover HI (Hostelling International) hostels where we could prepare our own foods. It also made us discover great people and it gave my daughter the "Travelling Bug"!

I'm afraid I dont know much about Ontario but if ever you and/or your father end-up in the Lower Saint-Laurent region of Québec, look me up!

Have a great trip & please give a hug to your dad!

Phil
