Retro Bici Wanted
Posted July 13th, 2011 - 4:27 pm by from Mexico City, Mexico (Permalink)
Anyone know where I can buy one of those retro, vintage-esque beach cruiser type bikes from? Either new or second hand would be great.

Thanks for your help

Cheers

Kerry

Hi,

I don´t know which type of bike you want, but near the subway Station Pino Suarez you can find many stores that have a great variety of bikes. Here is the map were you can find them.

http://maps.google.com.mx/maps?q=METRO+pino+Suarez&hl=es&ll=19.426196,-99.129058&spn=0,0.001797&sll=23.625269,-102.540613&sspn=20.75997,29.443359&z=19&layer=c&cbll=19.426196,-99.129058&panoid=WdGMOTXgp1yc6VDsDqBLTQ&cbp=12,62.31,,0,10.48

There are another stores in the messages posted below.

TODOS, entonces qué ¿nos vemos para el ciclotón del 31 de este mes?

regards,

Alejandro

yeeeiii, other cyclist in the city :)

well, the most popular, classic and retro bike, is the vagabond model.

also i hear that Chinto Bicis, some times fix retro bikes and sell this cheap.

one of them, that i liked was in this album.

but maybe you can ask them if have more just now to you.

in any case, as Alejandro wrote, you can go to San Pablo, and make your own bicycle, with a basket, retro tubes, a large padded seat.rims black with white outline, perhaps brake pedals, dynamo lights, and other things that you like them.

(sorry for my bad english)...

kind regards and happy rides.

Hey nearly-tocaya,

If you wanna go all out and have a bike that's everything you want, you can explain it all to Eli. She speaks English and makes bikes and even bike frames and you can visit her shop here:
