If we are talking just Alberta, Banff is amazing, The drive between Banff and Jasper in my opinion is the most beautiful drive in the entire world. If your going to be here in early July then Calgary and the Stampede is an event you cannot miss.

I myself was born in Germany and i will look into what your options may be for working are and get back to you.

-Canmore or Banff, Alberta for sure

-Vancouver Island for Canadian surfing and eternal spring weather (rainy, but not a lot of snow in the winter). Tofino holds an annual Whale Festival in March when thousands of whales migrate past their waters.

-The Okanagan valley in BC (Kelowna) for fruit trees and lakes and hot weather in summer

-the East Coast is often overlooked but is beatiful and the people are very friendly. And I mean East as in, PEI, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Halifax is a cool city and The George Street Festival in St. John's NFLD is a big street party you won't forget.

-Montreal is also probably the coolest city in Canada if you ask me.

Enjoy!

I always love the badlands around Drumhellar, Alberta. There's also quite a few things to do there. If you have any interest in dinosaurs and/or archeology the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumhellar is one of the best in the world.
