New American Gaijin going through Trader Joes withdrawl looking for Recipe Advice
I moved to Tokyo a couple months ago for a minimum two year stint with my companies Japan division. I'm looking for advice for quick and cheap staple recipes for daily life in Japan.
I've found a lot of the stuff I used to make in the states is a bit impractical here because either i don't have an oven, ingredients are unavailable or expensive, etc.
So far I've been getting by on a combination of pre-made meals and eating out, but I miss cooking and feel like like I'm not eating nearly as healthy as I used too.
I love Japanese food and will pretty much eat anything.
So what's everyone's daily go to's?
