Traveling in USA - Who will host us?
I'll be traveling with a friend and my dog around the USA in June and July of this year, by car. We don't really have a set itinerary, we just want to see awesome places and meet cool people and become inspired and learn stuff. :) I am a 20 yr old from Washington DC, my friend is 29 from Belgium, and my dog is a 5 month old German shepherd puppy. I will be doing a photography project along the way and we will be trying to do our trip on as little money as humanly possible, so this means calling on couchsurfing and dumpster diving to house and feed us!
So this is pretty early, but I was hoping to get a sense of with whom and where we could stay while we go on our journey. We don't just want a place to sleep at our destination (although we are independent and are more than happy to accept simply a place to sleep) but we wanted to actually go where people invited us, maybe so we have a bit more of a reason to be there than tourist attractions! The idea is to see how other people live and learn from them.
Is there anyone interested in hosting us or meeting up with us along our path? Maybe you have just been somewhere interesting and want to point us in the right direction? Oh, and the dog is well behaved and will sleep in any corner on the floor or even in the car :)
Feel free to reply here or send me a private message, and here is the link to my friend's CS profile:
Thank you in advance!!
