What breweries have people visited/most interesting tour?

I'm new to the group, thought I should make a post.

I just finished a Cross Canada trip this summer where I visited a brewery almost every province (not my main objective of the trip, but nonetheless).

I've noticed that craft-breweries are expanding into micro-breweries, which are also expanding to the next level. All across Canada, companies are brewing what they call the best beer.

I visited (to name a few):
Phillips Brewing, Victoria, BC (features the 1.9L Growler jug for $10 fill up)
Tree Brewing, Kelowna, BC (sampled beer for free, 2 hrs)
Big Rock Brewing, Calgary, AB
Kokanee, Creston, BC (they brew Alex Keith's for West Coast distribution at this location)
Steam Whistle, Toronto, ON (Green company; using a converted, fully electric, 1950's Ford pick-up delivery truck)
Amsterdam Brewing Co, Toronto, ON (sponsor local filmmakers and local bands to perform and show their films on a temp stage/screen in their back parking lot)
Alex Keith's Brewery, Halifax, NS (great tour, very entertaining, learned the origins of an IPA!)
Quidi Vidi Brewery, St.John's, NF (great small brewery at the end of a 10km hiking trail... where I learned about CS from the woman in the gift shop; she gave me a ride back to my hostel!)

So that's a quick summary of my experience. The question I pose to this group:

What makes a brewery/brew company unique? Where have people been? What company gives the best tour? What tour provides the most entertainment?
