Will be staying in tourist apartment where it's possible to cook, near Kiraly Street, I can do italian, indian, english cooking. Probably no more than 3 or 4 people though : )

hey david,so finally we will meet up? :) next weekend? saturday the 10th a lunch? what should we bring? if you only want max 4 people it is enough to post it here, dont follow gabor's advice, if you post it on bp group there will be just too many people coming. same if you create an event i guess.
i have two-three good CS friends i can maybe invite...
enjoy bp.

the apartment is tiny, it is one very small room, this can take place either in the room, or in somebody else's house. It is not possible to create a big event in the room. Best thing is to to arrange a day that is not saturday (too close to our departure), or clash with the weekly budapest meetings. I said to put a limit, so, Vishesh yes, as an indian specialist, plus the 4 of us in the room, plus Agape (I also have 3 other budapest contacts I hosted in Palermo and they are also interested) if she is not working (I think that friday pm is the best option, lunchtime is not a good idea because some of us have to syudy for university exams), or thursday pm. Of course if someone suggests this meal in their own house (better than tiny apartment cooker!) then we can do it at any time. In Palermo I have arranged dinners for 15 people in tiny room, but not in a commercial structure (residential holiday apartments) where 15 people could disturb the other people's evening peace : ))) So the essential problem is the physical space to prepare and eat.

Best wishes - david

And OF COURSE gabor is invited, by having replied among the first, so you see, if everyone turns up then we will be 10 (if we include my other BP CS contacts), and I think 10 is do-able in small room, in a bohemian sort of way (remember the gatherings in Tosca's "La Boheme"? : ))

Friday evening was what I had in mind, OR if someone wants to do it in a bigger a apartment that's cool too. But hey, we are in our apartment in Kiraly utca 8 quite often, just pop round if you like , you can check if I'm in by sending text message to 0039 3290760596 and then come to knock at apartmente number A310 and I will lety you in. You can enter the condominium freely by pressing the buttons "key 1 2 3 4 key". I am disabled but have electric wheelchair and canm walk around with you if you like : ) Or we can just chill, there is air conditioning and we can get some cool drinks, or watch DVD, or go out to look at something nearby or just if you want to cool down. I met Judi yesterday (who I hosted in palermo in april 2009, we had a great time and I ate my first hungarian beref goulasch).
Best wishes - David
ps agape, saturday being the last day, I didn't want to fill up that day

Friday is confirmed, the other people will tell me at the wednesday meeting if they're coming presumably. So in any case anyone who can't come on friday can meet me today, wednesday, at the meeting. The time doesn't really matter. nut no later than 9.15pm
