Mouthwatering Vegan Food Eve :)
Posted May 1st, 2013 - 9:41 pm by from Budapest, Hungary (Permalink)
Hello guys,
I love eating (mostly) vegan 'cos I have 3x as much energy, I just feel better in my skin, and I wanna show people who think that we only eat "grass and leaves" how super tasty vegan food can be. Not to mention how much lighter it is on our environment. I also might start up a small veggie/vegan food place with my uncle in the city so this could be a good test for me. :)

What I have in mind for a menu is:

Gingery-orangey beetroot soup

Thai veg curry with coconut milk
Tortillas filled with spicy tofu mince and fresh veg

And for dessert possibly some yummy energy-balls made from dried fruits, oranges, coconut and oats.

I'd also make some superhealthy & tasty green smoothie,
and Fresh poppyseed milk for tasting. :)

Plus I can show u how to sprout things very easily...

If ur interested in how I make these, a few people can come along to help with the cooking, but the kitchen is not that huge so I thought we'd mostly share the food when it's ready.

I'll also ask for sharing the costs, I think it should work out around 1500 per person, will see after shopping.

What about next Thursday evening (9th)?

Let me know if u wanna join :)
Anna

Anna!
Although I not vegetarian anymore, I'm still curious of the delights you've mentioned.
Let us know if the event takes place and if there is anything I can bring.
Cheers:

Hello dear people, thanks a lot for the interest, makes me happy to see there are a lot of open minded people up for something new :)
So I made this event, for next Thursday at 8pm, pls DEFINITELY sign up if u want to participate, as I limited the number of participants to 7 as I can't cook for an army lol and I need the estimate the amount of ingredients. So sign up soon not to miss the chance, and if something comes up and u can't make it, let me know asap :)

OK guys thanks for signing up, don't worry if you couldn't get in this time, I'm definitely gonna do another time, as part of my missionary work of converting vegans, lol :D I really love cooking so I might make a habit of this event, different dishes every time, will see. :)
