Fun couple in need of a roof

Hey peeps and geeks!

My name is Krysten. I'm from California and I've been here in Vancouver on a working visa for the past year with my boyfriend, but now we both have to go back home. Home for him (Thomas) is London. The reason we're looking for a couch to crash on for a few days is because our lease at our apartment ends at the end of June but our flights aren't until mid-July. Oh no!

I've emailed countless people about subletting but haven't gotten any positive replies because most subletters are looking for someone for at least a month, so I thought I'd give couchsurfing a shot! We're going to make the most of our last few days in Canada by going camping so we only need places to stay from July 1st-11th (so sorry about the short notice!). If we could stay with you for even one night during that period you'd be doing us a big favor!

We wont be too much of an inconvenience as we both have fulltime jobs and will be working most of the time. Thomas works in an office on Burrard St downtown and I work at a dog hotel off Main St. We also know the city well after this year, so you wont need to feel obliged to show us around. That said, it is always nice to discover new places and we'd love to visit your favourite spots with you! We'd of course be more than happy to chip in on groceries, cook dinner and help out around the place. We are both non-smokers, and we love pets.

Thanks to everyone for reading and I hope you're enjoying the summer!

check out my profile and see if it might work.

I try to usually have only two to four surfers at a time but this weekend I have four surfers from Quebec and two from France in my home (plus one each from Lithuania, Phillipines and Los Angeles). I will have only six tonight, seven Sunday night six Monday night and two or four on Tuesday night. I do still have two empty bedrooms though.
