The CS Mishloach Manot Initiative 2011!!
Posted February 18th, 2011 - 9:29 pm by from Jerusalem, Israel (Permalink)
Hey all!

PURIM is coming up next month (20.3.2011) and as the tradition goes, every person has to send at least two Mishloach Manot to different people.

SO.. I think this is a good opportunity to have a great CouchSurfing Project to create new connections between people- Making a HUGE CSing Misloach Manot all over the place!!

In the first year we had an amazing project with 65 people from 12 countries, 4 continents and 120 packages. Last year it grew to 73 people from 17 countries, 5 continents and 94 packages sent world wide sharing joy and building connections all around the world! This year I hope we can get to 100 participants- please let your friends know about this!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Fill in the form with your correct details https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dGdVejc5RmZhMmtMTDlmcFRPeG9oWnc6MQ#gid=0
2. I send you an address where you should send the package you made.
3. Write a letter with greetings and write a little bit of information about yourself (name, where you live, what do you do, your couchsurfing name, exc').
4. Make a Mishloach Manot (instructions will be sent after you signup), pack it in a box, go to the near post office and send it to the address you'll get.
5. Go to your near post office and pick up the Mishloach Manot sent to you and make new friends!
