Suggestions welcomed - where to visit in Algeria?
Posted February 28th, 2013 - 4:27 am by from London, England (Permalink)
Dear CSers of Algeria,

I am planning a trip to Algeria for which I can dedicate between 1-2 weeks in late March-early April. It will be my first time in the country and so I am relying solely on what I have been reading so far on itinerary & transport. Your suggestions on the following would therefore be invaluable:

- Which places should I not miss in Algeria? Where shall I go?
- Which means of transport is best to use within Algeria?
- Is it possible to travel from Tunisia to Algeria by train or by bus? If so, from which city (in Tunisia) to which city (in Algeria) is this going to be?

Any other tips and advice from you would be highly appreciated, so please get back to me when you read this post.

Thanks for the help in advance everyone, I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best wishes

Good morning Firat,

first, be welcome to our country :), 1 to 2 week is good but not enough to see the north and the south, if you are planning to come from Tunisia you can visit the north of Algeria from Annaba to Tlemcen the trip will be like, Annaba Constantine Bejaia Algiers Oran and finally Tlemcen but i don't think you will find a flight from Tlemcen to England :( but don't worry its just a suggestion you can find your own itinerary according what you want to do, what do you wanna see in this beautiful country
the transportation is easy by train, bus, taxi, plane, just give us after where do you want to go and we will help you
keep in touch if you need more explanation
from Tunisia you have some special taxis who will drive you from the capital to Annaba
good luck

Salut Firat.
Amicalement Lamine.
