Adieu...
Posted April 2nd, 2013 - 4:56 pm by from Istanbul, Turkey (Permalink)
Hello All... My Algeria trip and air ticket is now cancelled as my visa application has been rejected today... without any reason, without any explanation.
I had gone to the consulate to make my application a month ago but I was sent back because it was "too early"... I tried again two weeks later... this time they told that my documents were sufficient but it was still "too early" for the application.
So, I had to risk it and bought my air ticket...
And yesterday -another week later- they took my papers... and today (2nd April)... I´m told that my application is refused.
I am almost devistated as I was so very much looking forward to this trip and visit my Algerian friends there...
I will make no comments about the official treatment I received... however, I have to express my gratefulness and thanks to CS Algeria for all its help and hospitality.
Maybe see you guys here in Istanbul someday... Adieu...

it is not an "adieu" but rather an "au revoir"

Thank you very much guys... your hospitality has been exceptional all the way from the start.
This is simply why I felt so shocked and devistated.
It simply wasn't not being able to go to "another" place but a special one.

Your kind responses does make me think of having another go next year or so when I renovate my passport to the new ones.

Mille merci once again... and hugs to you all...
