I think its a good idea to merge into the main group, because its only on aspect of the group and not anymore here discussed. Maybe to find the topics again in the main group more members will see it there.

Good question Shai.

But I'm afraid it is irrelevant. I hate to sound jaded, especially because I dearly love the staff/volunteers who make CS run, but it seems obvious that they are unable or unwilling to heed the good advice and feedback that's given through groups like this.

Every time I go through the tedious process of linking up with a person as a "friend" and leaving a reference, my blood pressure goes up. It's confusing, insulting, and largely a waste of time. And it's even worse, in many ways, than it was on CS-1. Ambassadors have been complaining very specifically about it for the last 2 years, but it never changes. If ever the collective members respond, it's by saying "we're working on it!" As a non-computer programmer, I don't know what this means... but they always seem sincere when they say it!

Like I said, I love these guys, but I wonder if they have any sense of priorities when it comes to the website improvements. Therefore, I think this group will do little more than galvanize some good opinions and ideas among its members, but I doubt we will be taken seriously by the Powers That Be. Perhaps a hostile takeover is in order? Anyone want to join forces with me and start an invading army? I'm quite handy with the tickle-torture method....

In all respect,

Eric
