Adventure in Wisconsin

Hi everyone!

My name is Bárbara, 24-year-old girl from Monterrey, Mexico. Next january 2013 I'll be going to La Crosse because of my job. I'll be doing a 5-month graduate training program at Trane-Ingersoll Rand's company.

I'm a very active person, I love meeting new people and living new adventures is one of my priorities, which is why I wanted to ask you guys any recommendations of the best way to spend the weekends (hiking, see sighting, skiing, winter sports, ADVENTURE! etc) I'll have a car so driving to different destinations shouldn't be a problem.

Hope to meet some cool interesting people once I'm there! I really don't have a doubt about that. ;)

Alright then, thanks for reading my message! Ciao!

Hi Amanda!

Thank you for all the tips and suggestions! I'll definitely swing by to those places you mention.

I've heard nightlife its pretty cool, shame you're not there! I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Thanks again!

Bárbara

I know its on the opposite side of the state but if you get a free weekend come to Door County WI. Its the tumb of wisconsin. Really beautiful and a fun and relaxing place. Ill be moving there in May so youll have a couch to crash on. Its a tourist attraction, but it is for a reason.
