I have two newly decorated flats in Prince Edward, Kowloon. They are within two minutes walking distance to the Prince Edward MTR Station. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Central. The location is walking distance to Mongkok, Yau Ma Tei, Sham Shui Po, and Tai Kok Tsui Olympian City. The sizes are small, just around 200 to 230 square feet, ideal for a single person or a couple. There is your own private kitchen area, washroom without bathtub but just a shower. No need to share with others. The flats can be provided for rent with or without furniture. They are also inclusive of wifi and water bills. There are two brand new air-conditioners in each flat. Electricity is at cost only, which is around HK$1.30 per kilowatt. They are located inside of a walk-up building, but on the first floor, so there is just one short flight of stairs. The area is the most convenient place to live. It is surrounded by supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, pharmacies, department stores, tai pai dong eateries, and tons of public transportation to anywhere in Hong Kong as well as mainland China shuttle buses; all within a five minute walk from the property. Short term and long term is welcome. Contact me if interested for a viewing and discussion.

Hey HK couchsurfers again,

I haven't found any place yet, even though I am coming in just one week, so let me know if you have any suggestions.
I am even interested in staying just a week or two weeks (or any suggestions for hostels/ cheaper hotels?) until I find something suitable. The most important is that it is more or less central (up to 30min to Causeway Bay) and that it is clean.

I am also up for sharing apt. If there is anyone who is also looking for an apt and maybe would like to search together, let me know!

Cheers,
Migle

Hi Migle,

I may have something available August 1st. Check out my pictures of the apartment on my profile. The small room above the kitchen is available for sure at $2000 per month. The loft with vaulted ceiling may be available at $4000 per month.
