hey,

Hast du eine Idee, was man mal ausmessen könnte?

hope to see you soon!

I think it's problematic to search for a political motivation here. Shouldn't it be that first there's the aim, and then you decide which measures must be undertaken to achieve it? Otherwise it's just random. If you just want to try guerilla knitting, why not just take it as a means to make the city a bit more beautiful or funny?

Generally I agree to have an aim first and then the protest. (don't like people that just protest to protest as well...)
But if you wanna knit - say a scarf - for Marx and Engels to keep them warm to show their welcome, I think it's ok having the knitting idea first, cause you need some people that can knit, can't really do it alone. If you plan "normal" political activities you just find like-minded people, not like-skilled...you get what I mean?
And it's just making it more beautiful at the same time, isn't it? (for all the ones that don't know the story about these statues too).
In HU Dorotheenstr. was a knitted kind of tube on the doorhandle of the entrance door. It got removed the same day. Ok, uni was more colourful for one day, but somehow I'd like guerilla knitting to be a bit more than that. Maybe.

We talk about it tomorrow ;-)

Hi there,
I am new in Berlin AND on couchsurfing website. Could any of you give me the address for next meeting ? I could not find it. I understood that it will be by Danai Vam-vam in Schöneberg.
thanks a lot.
