Hi Tizzita,
you are not the only one looking for food!
I would love to host, new though I am, but my Kitchen is a squeeze....,can't have more than 4 bodies in it.lol
Have to look for a big kitchen... now if someone is offering, I am game.

hi TINI63,
The Kitchen being small should not scare you from hosting the event. In most cases the event is a potluck where attendants bring with them cooked food which is shared by all. Kitchen might be used just to warm the food.
This is also a good way for newbies to meet other couchsurfers!

Good Afternoon Couchsurfer cooks,

Who wants to come cook or eat.... at my place?
The 24th of March is a good day for me.
We can start late afternoon and have an early dinner.
Depending on attendance.. I can plan a meal and you bring a bottle. (full please!heheheh)
Well, what do you think of the idea?
I live just north of Nairobi off Kiambu Road at Thindigua.

Hallo Helleinor

. Transportation to Kiambu is very good and at all times. matatus 100 and 120.
alight at Thindigua.... stage immediately after Paradise Lost turning.
takes about 15 minutes from town.... with traffic longer!!!
these are the directions that i have given Sharon.

lol, i dont live that far off and its quiet safe here. as I am app.200m from the main road.
do you think it will be better if I start early because of transport? it is possible as its a saturday.
alright, you have to pass Ridgeways continue pass, Evergreen Garden center and the turning to Paradise Lost. 200m ahead is , on your left an earth road, big sign "St Gregory's Church, turn in and after 5 pumps, a sharp left turn(immediately after the church..... then a sharp right turn, ahead you will see Thindigua Apartments. I am in W3! tel no> 0733 706618.
karibu sana.
we can also start early if it is the wish of many. let me know
take care and see you soon.
oh bottle??? of what you drink please

Good Morning Sharon,
Thanks for your advice...
I understand the worries about the transport....so..

Invite again: Please come at 2pm so that we can cook and have a late Lunch at 3-3:30pm. This will give us time to settle and chat............ hope it is more agreeable to many.
as for the drink.... wine would be appreciated though i had asked for each of you to bring your own drink....
Coffee will follow..........hehehhehee
have a good day and Thanks again.

Tini
