Prices and Buffets

Hey All

hey im glenn and my wife to be are holidaying in NZ soon and we are wondering what is prices of fuel please and also where is best places to find a buffet to eat meals at in North Island and South Island such as Rotorua, Napier, Wellington, Queenstown, Te Anau, Dunedin and Christchurch

Also what is general prices for food items such as salads and fruit and fruit juice and pasta and where is best places in about towns for hot potato chips? please

Hey mate....

Fuel is 2:16 nzd per litre ....
Nz dose not have buffets as such unless u head to hotels, mongolian or a place called vallentines.

Fruit and veges can range from town to town,easist is sopermarket otherwise u wil see lots of botique fruit veg stands on road side.....

Also lots of fish and chip shops head to white lady in auckland...

Grab a tikiwai cup www.tikiwai.com and it can give you free coffee and cheap food and beer across New Zealand and cost only $3.

All my Aussie visitors note food is generally cheaper here. Enjoy the bananas $1 - 2.50kg...... better than $17kg in Aust ah!

17 a kg for bananas wow, guess they are proberbly grown in ausie, thats the problem with high salary i guess

thanks all but i get banannas for about 1:00 kg where i shop now :) yes unfort after cyclones and floods we had extreme prices thankfully it has come down :)

Hey mate thanks so much for your help and about the coffee and cheap meal we dont drink coffee or beer but we can try the cheap meal :)
