Creative couch wanted!
Posted December 20th, 2012 - 10:32 am by from Sundsvall, Sweden (Permalink)
Hi!

Arriving to Aukland on the 26th (27th dec) and would like to meet some friendly NZ-people. Would do some work during the daytime (not full time) but are free in the evening. It would be nice if we could sleep on your couch for 1-2 nights. (it would be nice to not have to sleep in our rental car for 2 weeks).

We are also going to:
Routaro 29-30 dec
Gisborde 31-1 (2) dec
Wellington 2-4 jan
New Plymothe 5 jan
Aukland 7-9 jan (again)

We are looking for creative people, openminded and easy going. We can learn you some swedish if you like, cook some nice food and tell you about our trip around the world.

We have been to New Zealand once before so this is not our first visit in this country... we fell in love in the country the first time we went there and are hoping to fall in love once again.

Hope to here from some interesting people!

Hello to you two creative people!!
The world needs more people like you. In N.Z. we are far to focused on sports e.g. The All Blacks.
I should let you know that it can be difficult to find couches over this time here, because it is the time of the year when the most people are holidaying or having visitors. I too may have family coming about this time and can tell you definitely dates if you are interested.Probably only one grand daughter which means I still have 3 spare beds.
I wouldn't really call myself creative - I like to knit, make quilts, wall hangings, teddy bears and bags but using other peoples patterns.
I have studied your itinerary and although Wanganui is not one of your stated destinations, I do know that folk have made changes to their plans.
You would not need to do any work ( you could wander around and take photos!!!) Have a read through my profile and please don't be put off by my age - I am still very mobile.
Regards
Peter
