Potluck #2
Posted January 31st, 2011 - 8:32 pm by from Burnaby, Canada (Permalink)
Hello everyone,
I had the pleasure of attending the first potluck and had an incredible time. The food and people were amazing.
I was thinking of having a potluck dinner at my house on Monday Feb 7th starting around 5:30pm. You can come earlier if you need to prepare. My house is on 10th Ave on the Burnaby/New Westminster border. Some folks might want to carpool. There is transit available too.
I live in basement suite that can hold about 15 people?? lol Never done this before.
Was thinking random foods that taste good. Please post what you are bringing so there is a variety. In addition to food.. wine is perfect.
If arranged in advance, I can host up to 4 people overnight.

**Important** Please report ALL food ALLERGIES!!!

I am going to make a cold Chickpea salad.
Cheers... Christina

Hi Christina & Everyone!

If there is still room, I would like to come!
I offer "dry fruits & nuts bread" and dessert.

The bread goes along with salad and wine.
For dessert, I'm thinking something using yogurt, but I might change the plan for this...

Thank you, Christina!
Love to see ya all.

I'm in for this one! :p

I will try to make Zuppa Toscana, Olive Garden style. It's my first time making it, so I'm not sure how it will turn out. If I don't like it, I will try to come up with something else. went to their restaurant in Langley yesterday, and this is the item that makes me want to go there everytime.

Hello.. the potluck is still on. Yyyaayy!
And there is still room for a couple more.

Bruno... I love either one.
Jasmine... sounds good.

I lost my cell phone yesterday. Sooooo

My address is 8465 10th Ave./Burnaby
It's in between Cumberland and McBride St.
There will be a blue/grey Jeep Cherokee parked out front of some BIG hedges.
Enter through the middle of the hedges.
Walk to the left of the house... through the gate... and down the stairs to your immediate right.

If you can.. please bring your own dishes and cutlery as I don't have enough to go around.

Looking forward to seeing everybody tomorrow.

I am having trouble getting access to a kitchen so it looks like I shall be bringing something super simple. Maybe wine and some fruit?

Biking out to you from Vancouver so may be a little late.
