Posted May 7th, 2011 - 7:58 am by from Burnaby, Canada (Permalink)
I am moving at the end of this month in with my honey, who is not so Couchsurfing savey. :( I think once he experiences it.. he will become more open. Thinking a potluck this Thursday would be fun. Any interesting ideas?

I'll probably be out of town. Last time we talked about a chocolate theme.. savory cocoa dishes, yum. Buuuuttt, in honour of Mother's day, I propose 'Just like mom used to make,' featuring a family favourite :) one potluck I would be sad to miss!

now they have flowered i am seeing the elderflower everywhere-the variety on the northwest coast is a little different than i am used to but still good. Sambucus callicarpa (Pacific Coast Red Elderberry; west coast of North America). I got mine out on the road near squamish and some more near the airport just on empty land. they are all along the creeks now in bright flower- bottled the brew tonight and in 7 days yum!

How bout next week sometime?

In June I'm moving to a new place and am really looking forward to hosting one there once I get settled. Perhaps BBQ theme... I have a backyard! And summer is around the corner :)
