Triatlón Cuna de la Bandera / Rosario / 25 Noviembre

Hola gente, pienso hacer este triatlón en Rosario el 25 de noviembre. Haría la distancia short, pero también hay olímpica. A alguien le interesa hacerlo y entrenar conmigo?

Hello everyone, I'm thinking of doing this triathlon in Rosario the 25th of November. I'd do the sprint distance, but there's also the option to do an olympic. Is anyone interested in doing it and training with me?

Hola Dany, qué bueno que quieres entrenar! Quieres entrenar para correr, andar en bici, nadar, o todo? :) Vivo en Palermo Hollywood. Estoy viajando ahora, pero vuelvo este fin de semana. Organizamos algo pronto, te parece?

Qué bueno, nos juntamos una tarde la semana que viene entonces. Correr y bici debe ser fácil porque tenemos los parques de Palermo muy cerca…pero no tengo idea donde podemos entrenar para la natación…alguien sabe?

Hola, Nahaira, que bueno que piensas participar! Me parece que las distancias son:

Natación: 1.5km Bici: 40km Correr: 10km

Natación: 750me Bici: 20km Correr: 5km

Sorry to reply in English - I would be interesting in joining you; I have never competed in a triathlon but am keen to start!
Is it possible to just do the running for example and then another does the swimming etc?

So if you will have an Englishman on board I would be happy to join!

Hey Tom,

That would be great if you want to join! I've never done a triathlon either, which I why I think starting with the sprint distance would be good. I don't think they have a relay option or anything like that, but I could be wrong. Let me know if you're still interested!

I think what I will need to train the most for is swimming, plus just general endurance. I am doing cross fit and running 3-4 times a week, so I'll continue with that, plus try to add in a couple of swimming days and maybe one long bike ride per week. I haven't really looked into any professional training programs, but would be open to suggestions!
