Hikes in/around Howe Sound
Posted May 21st, 2012 - 6:57 pm by from Halifax, Canada (Permalink)
So I'm calling out for any good trail suggestions on the North Shore/throughout Howe Sound. I've exhausted many of the small/intermediate trails in the area, and need a change of scenery from the Grouse Grind, Baden Powell, and the Chief trails. Anybody know any trails in the area that either land you in a lake, or at the top end of a spectacular view? Moderate - difficult, and a few-several hours in length.

Also, any good camping spots? (preferably just in the forest, but campground works too)

I just ran around the smoke bluffs/cougar mtn today and found a nice camping spot on the fm tower...a little bit to hike till you reach it,but an awesome place to camp ;)
