Looking for a job/internship for my Peruvian girlfriend
I know couchsurfing is no job market. But it isn't a dating site either, and still I got to know my Peruvian girlfriend this way, and maybe the CS community can help us again. Especially Peruanos already living in Germany...
We didn't have many opportunities to see each other during the last year. Since I'm still in training and can't move to Peru, my girlfriend is looking for a (temporary) job or internship in Germany so we can see each other more often. It would be nice if it could also help her career. She is considering doing some kind of volunteering work, but I would like her to get something "better".
Right now she doesn't speak German, but she is taking German classes and has passed the A1.1 exam, and she would like to take intensive classes in Germany. She's a Spanish native speaker and fluent in French and English though. She has a Master's degree from the University Complutense of Madrid in Clinical Neuropsychology (Thesis about the rehabilitation of cognitive impairment after strokes, brain injuries or due to neurological illnesses) and a European Master in Latin American Studies (Cultures and Societies, Thesis about the sexual behavior of women in Latin America) from the University Autonoma of Madrid and the University César Vallejo (Lima, Peru). She has also studied at the University of Toulouse (France).
During and shortly after her studies she has been working in her field as teaching assistant at these universities, but for the last half year she has held a job as a scholarship manager in the student's welfare and development office of a high school for exceptionally gifted students in Lima, Peru. She has also already been working as an au pair in France in 2009.
She is good at organization and coordination and problem resolution in groups.
Does anybody here have an idea or a tip for me/her where to look for a job? The big problem is that she doesn't yet speak German, and that she's not from the EU. But a time-limited internship that is professionally challenging would already be better than an au pair or a low-qualification volunteering job.
Of course it would be nice if we could find something in or close to Munich. But I'm not limiting my search to Munich or Bavaria, just starting here (I'm also posting this in the Munich, Bavaria and Germany group).
Thank you for any help and advice!
