Buenos Aires --Chile

Looking for a hitch hiking partner. I am leaving on Monday (8th) and am heading towards Chile. The route is unimportant- I figure either BA-Mendoza-Chile or route 7 towards Cordoba and out higher north in Chile. Ultimately I am going to Ecuador, but I do believe I will take a bus once I get to Peru. If anyone is interested in at least this first leg of the trip out of Buenos Aires, I'd love the company. Also willing to contribute to gas if anyone is driving either of these directions. My schedule is flexible if Monday is too early and you're keen on going, but I am eager to be back on the road within the next several days.

Cheers!

Alec

Hey there, just a quick message to share some infomation with you.
Some years ago a Chilean friend of mine and her french friend hitchhicked their way from Buenos Aires to Santiago de Chile. They went by truck. She told me to take her where all the trucks usually stop. She looked for those with white plate, the ones from Chile, and asked one of the guys if he´d take them. He said yes and the next day they left.

I know that maybe doing it by yourself may be not as comfortable as doing it with a partner, but just letting you know.

Cheers!

By the way, the 'truck stop' is somewhere in costanera sur.
