Hi Sonia!!

Unfortunately, those dances are not very common in Brazil. But there are sometimes Latin parties that have them. I saw one in Lapa that was playing salsa last weekend. I also love to dance Latin music. If I find out about any I'll let you know. I'll probably join you. But keep in mind that this is canaval season and we'll find lots of samba everywhere!! Feel free to send me a private message so we can hang out.

Good luck!!

Regards,
Bela

Hi Sonia,

I´m planning to arrive there at 22:00. Because the salsa band start to play that hour.
We would meet in Lapa outside LEVIANOS BAR at 22:00. But may be if you prefer we would meet in other place. I live in Gávea and usually I take the METRO to go LAPA. Where are you staying?

Hi Ema,

off course, we can go the 14 too. This place is really good. About sleep to Lapa disctric, I think is cool to staying there. This place is in Downton, most of the turistic place are close. Many tourist stay there. It´s not close to the Ipanema and Copacabana beaches you have to take a bus or metro to go there.

My cell number is 8178-9593.
The salsa show is R$ 16 or R$ 18. Inside they sell food and drink. There is other show in the second floor (forró show - a brazilian dance), the cost in total would be R$25. Only salsa is R$ 16 or R$ 18.
