I am a Spanish girl from Barcelona. I will move to NY for a three month work assignment. I will arrive the 3rd October and I will leave the 31st December. I will be working near Fifth Ave. and 45th Street and I am looking for accommodation. It can be close to that place or well communicated.

Hi Elena!
You can take my room in Brooklyn when you arrive, here is the description:

My roommate has moved out and I'm looking forward to sharing the apartment with someone with a couchsurfing spirit.

It's a huge private bedroom with walk-in closets on the 6th floor, in a

clean building with an elevator. There is a good spring bed in the room.

The apartment is 1-bedroom and I live

in a partitioned-off living room (I built a door). The big kitchen is

separated and can serve as a common area. The neighborhood is safe, 5

minutes to ave. H stop on the Q-train. 30 min to Union Square. You can

also bike on any part of Brooklyn(except Williamsburg/Bushwick) in under

half hour, 10 minutes to Prospect Park, 20 min to Coney Island. Grocery

stores, takeout food, movie theater(!), gym, liqueur store are

downstairs. There is a convenient laundry room in the building.

About me: Couchsurfer since 2007, currently I work in IT in the city and

often go to trips on weekends (skiing, etc). I don't host much right

now due to lack of time, but you are welcome to. Looking for a long-term

roommate. Rent is $680 per month + utilities (electricity, gas, internet, usually

comes out to around 60 per person per month). Room is available right now.
