the very first meeting was very enjoyable ... we saw a russian movie called 'How I Ended This Summer (2010)

I would love to know from those who attended how you would rate this movie so that if others want to watch it then they have our opinions to guide their decision :)

My rating: 8/10
Comments: Excellent depiction of the need for communication between two people and also the very lack of it could lead to unnecessary misunderstandings. One line to summarize is that there is only a short time window to do/say the right thing.....else its too late

:) a definite watch

I'd give it 7/10:

Beautiful photography (Arctic!!).
What would you do if you were in possession of damagng information, which is also uncomfortable to share? ... The film states I guess that inaction entails even more suffering and awkwardness, in time. So it makes you think!.

I think, even keeping the lack of communication, the film could have been more vibrant / absorbing.

I recommend to wath it :-)

Yup, 7.5/10
Got it's very own charm to it, mostly due to the photography and the directing. Fairly slow-paced, but still not boring at any point. And yes, about communication in most of the plot, life at a meteorologic station in the Arctic providing just the right setting to take that utmost important human issue apart.

Unfortunately I don't have too much time in the next few weeks (a lot of work to do for two oral exams in the beginning of June), but keep me posted about the next dates ;)
