Couchsurfing meeting at Club de Tennis Maresme???

Hello everybody...

Well as some of you may have read in my previous post, I'm here in Mataro, working with my girlfriend Lucia, to restore "Club de Tennis Maresme". We've been here for seven months now actually working very hard, and haven't really been out in the town much.

When we arrived, the club was pretty much destroyed, so there has been a lot to do…

Anyway now we have the place looking a bit more presentable, and although we're still not officially open, the tennis courts are in good conditions and are being used and we do have a basic menu and have started a basic service from the bar.

We have two very big sunny terraces and a big bar and BBQ area. The site is great. it has incredible 180 degree views of the sea.

It's just outside of the town on the Nacional II, between Mataro and LLavaneras. It is possible to arrive by foot without walking on the road. There is a foot path behind the club which leaves from Ronda Cervantes. The path starts opposite "Alsurs II" bar. You have to go down the metal steps and cross the dried up river, then follow the path to the club. It's about a 15/20 minute walk from the centre of town, and is actually quite pleasent with good views along the way...

As I said before, we really don’t have much time to leave the site, which is a shame because I have been quite heavily involed with Couchsurfing in the past and I would love to participate more with Couchsurfers in Mataro and come to some couchsurfing meetings now that i live here, but I just don’t have time…so i thought…well why not invite everybody here!

We have a great location for group meeting events…

If people can let me know what they think, that way, if people like the dea, we can put together a specail "couchsurfing" menu...

Ok thanks guys.

Sincerely,

Harry.

P.S. I'm working on the website at the moment, so as soon as it is up and running I will put a link here so people can see some pictures and get to know us a little bit better...
