The Gabrieli Choir is looking for singers!!!
Posted March 19th, 2013 - 1:03 am by from Budapest, Hungary (Permalink)
Hi everyone!

The Gabrieli Choir is currently looking to expand its membership, and is seeking enthusiastic new singers in the soprano, tenor and bass sections (alto applicants are invited to join a waiting list). There are solo opportunities for suitably qualified applicants.
If you are an experienced singer, are good at sight-reading, and would enjoy the challenge offered by studying and performing this stimulating repertoire in a friendly group, the Gabrieli Choir would very much like to hear from you. Please do get in touch.

The choir’s repertoire focuses on English music from the 16th century to the present day (e.g., Tallis, Whyte, Purcell, Vaughan Williams, Bairstow, Howells, Rutter, Gabriel Jackson and Paul Mealor). In common with performance practice in England, old works are frequently juxtaposed with new, English with non-English (e.g., Fauré, Kocsár, Sisask); and the whole is set in the context of the Anglican tradition.

Here is the webpage, or if you have any questions please contact me!

Best wishes,
