Hey folks,

I've been in the city for a couple of months now. I'm a researcher at La Trobe University and spend most of my time there. I live in Bundoora but will move to North Melbourne in a few days. Looking forward to that!

I've met a few queer students at the university but would like to meet others in the city. I'm a bit of a nerd, I identify with progressive politics, love literature and cinema, and really enjoy traveling - would be great to team up with people who're thinking about exploring regional Victoria.

I'm training as a programmer for a show called Queering the Air on 3CR community radio, a station that's interested in community rights issues, and I'd love to talk to and hear from people with ideas, experiences and stories. Generally happy to meet up with anyone interested in connecting with other queer people. If you're from a multicultural or culturally diverse background, that would be great too, as I'm interested in issues pertaining to queer people from different cultural contexts.

I'm also happy to get a drink, go to an exhibition or even hang out over clubbing. The great thing about CS is that it's for people with diverse interests and a curiosity about travel, places and communities. Cheers!
