M. Victor Leventritt Panel Discussion, reception

We invite you to attend the opening of Prints and the Pursuit of Knowledge in Early Modern Europe, which will feature a panel discussion, at 6pm in the Sackler Museum lecture hall, that introduces the main themes of the exhibition, followed by a reception in the Sackler Museum lobby.

The panel members, all contributors to the exhibition catalogue, are curator Susan Dackerman; Dániel Margócsy, Assistant Professor of Early Modern History, Hunter College; Katharine Park, Samuel Zemurray, Jr. and Doris Zemurray Stone Radcliffe Professor of the History of Science, Harvard University; Suzanne Karr Schmidt, Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow in Prints and Drawings, Art Institute of Chicago; and Claudia Swan, Associate Professor of Art History, Northwestern University.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 5–8pm.

Free admission. Limited complimentary parking at Broadway Garage, 7 Felton Street.

The M. Victor Leventritt Fund was established through the generosity of the wife, children, and friends of the late M. Victor Leventritt, Harvard Class of 1935. The purpose of the fund is to present outstanding scholars of the history and theory of art to the Harvard and Greater Boston communities.
