concert: A tribute to Thomas Hansen (St. Thomas) - Sept. 1st
In September 2007 the Norwegian folksinger Thomas Hansen alias St. Thomas died. He was only 31 years old. Afflicted by mental problems and alcoholism he shared a similar fate with many other promising artists in music history.
Commemorating 5th anniversary of death former band members, fellow musicians and bands pay once more tribute to Thomas Hansen by performing own songs and cover versions. Besides Ai Phoenix (Bergen), Leiv Reed (Bergen), Brødrene Löwenstierne (Oslo), Alexander Lindbäck (Oslo), Tomi Simatupang (Berlin) and A Humming From The Wood (Leipzig/Göttingen) - as musical acts – the Norwegian actor and close friend Henrik Horge will participate as a toast master. He will lead through the evening and share some heart-warming memories with the audience.
A tribute to Thomas Hansen is an honest reverence to one of the most gifted singer- songwriters in recent music history. His songs and records are bitter-sweet testimonials of his inner life dealing about self-doubts, disabilities and hope in salvation.

I'm hoping not to break any rules of our beloved cs-community, but I would like to promote this tribute evening, that I have been busy working on the past months. I hope, that this event would be of any interest to St. Thomas fans and music lovers. Our event is supported by the Norwegian Embassy.
