Weekend Esperanto Course in English
Posted November 15th, 2012 - 2:04 pm by from Berlin, Germany (Permalink)
Hey,

I'm teaching an intensive Esperanto course in English on December 1st/2nd. It's 14 hours of instruction, including breaks, and afterwards you will already be able to have conversations with other Esperanto speakers, such as the 160 people from 28 countries who already signed up for the European Youth Week from Dec 28th to Jan 4th.

Normally this kind of language course is only offered in German, but I'm making an exception because there have been so many requests for an English-language course, mostly from expats who still struggle with German. Many studies have proven that learning Esperanto will greatly speed up your learning of other languages, enough to make up for the time you spend learning it (see Wikipedia). Esperanto's grammar is extremely simple and there are NO irregular verbs or other exceptions. That is why it can be learned several times faster than any other language.

So take this one-time offer and spend a fun weekend learning Esperanto!

If you're not convinced yet, read this advice from a polyglot and "language hacker".

Hope to see you there!
