Hi everyone. I have just arrived in Berlin, my German is less than null. I'm starting classes in April and I don't want to miss 2 months. I know latin-Spanish and Spanish from Spain since I'm from Argentina and then I moved to Madrid for many years. I'm also fluent in English and french. If you' re a German native speaker and you want to practice, learn or improve your Spanish we can be tandem partners, just let me know!! Tschüss!

Hi there! I'm not a philologist, but I would say that it is the same difference as among US and UK English. Each country has its own particularities in the way they speak (and write) and that's the good part of it, the language is fed from a huge variety of styles and gets richer.
But of course this is just my opinion. Thanks for writing.
