Berliner - Culture & History

By chance I stumbled upon this documentary about Berlin's history.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2AADC66884A22F0D

After watching, I understood why I felt this way about Berlin.

I lived in Hamburg before, but when I am in Berlin, I felt a lot more free, freedom, because food and living is very affordable, and lots of culture and music, and lots living spaces.

The documentary is from the BBC in English, but written by a German,

It shows the area of Berlin that you & I walk pass and see everyday.

Friedrichstr, Prussia, Rosa-Lux, Humboldt, Cabaret, Franzoische Dom, architecture, french writer Voltaire, freedom, Brandenburger gate, Postdamer platz, Modernism, the alternatives, sex, communism, ideas.

It is really an eye opener, that's why I would like to share with you.

It has lots ideas and philosophies about Berlin that makes this city Berlin different to other German city.

If you are a German student or someone into history and culture, I would love to hear what you think about Berlin.
