Hi Lu,

Unfortunately design isn't really my area but if you would like to meet some like-minded folk, many of whom would be more design-oriented, i'd like to bring your attention to the following:

"Mostly Harmless" is the English speaking crew of the Pirate Party in Berlin. Its intention is to spread awareness to new people in town who don't have a sufficient grasp of the language enough to easily find out what's happening politics-wise.

Seen as though these same people are unlikely to have citizenship, they can't vote anyway. So this shouldn't be seen as canvassing new members, just in case you're concerned that you (rightly) want to keep your project non-partisan. Just is just a few drinks and good high level chats.

Location: Laidak, Boddinstr 42/43, Neukoelln
Time: 8pm every second Wednesday

Tomorrow is the next one.

Also, a larger, more primarily German speaking group of pirates meet every Tuesday from 8pm in Kinski, Friedelstr 28, Neukoelln.

So...tonight if you're interested?

I've been creating meetup.com events to get new people to the bi-monthly Wednesday event. But what i'm really hoping is to get people to migrate to the regular Tuesday event so i'm not the only English-only speaking person there. (I went once and everyone's lovely but i don't want to be a burden).

Crypto and privacy greatly interests me, and many of these people too.

If i don't hear from you by tomorrow's meetup, i suggest you keep an eye on meetup.com 'cause i intend to continue organising these events.
