I only got here about 10 days ago, with a month to see if I could find a job and make it work to stay longer. I already have 3 schools that will give me work and it´s looking like it will be possible to stay. BUT I was totally on the fence about it because I DONT love teaching English... I love it here in Brazil but is it worth the money to get settled (find an apartment, buy a bike, buy work clothes, little things for the apartment, all the metro rides add up, etc.). How much time will I be ENJOYING Brazil you know lol...

also, how do I extend my tourist visa to 6 months!!! Lots of things to figure out...

Any advice? Recommendations? Etc. Let me know!!!

Obrigada!

Adam, the original phrase belongs to Tom Jobim: Viver no exterior é bom mas é uma merda, viver no Brasil é uma merda mas é bom. =)
