Does it Bother anyone that our CEO keeps his profile hidden?

I just did a simple search and it turns out that our CEO Tony Espinoza, the CEO of Couchsurf, has chosen to keep his Couchsurf profile hidden.

At the very least, that implies to me that he is not really committed to CS's core philosophy and culture. I mean, does the guy even use CS? Does anyone know?

It seems like the CEO of couchsurf should have a couchsurf profile that other couchsurfers can view and leave references on. He should have to follow the same rules we do.

He has admitted that he has multiple profiles, for various purposes including "testing". At least the one in his real name is hidden. He seems to be afraid of receiving too many messages and negative references. All his predecessors had public profiles though. Fenton had and has messaging enabled, and deleted all references he didn't like.

I think posting publicly from a hidden profile is silly and inappropriate, especially for a CS employee. But at least that profile allows him to show to the world how little he understands of Couchsurfing and his job:
