I'm really interesed on hiking in Styria. I've found a couple of routes that seems to be interesing. Both are about 20-25 km of distance and around 1300-1500m cumulative positive altitude. These are:
- Some route to get to Bösenstein and/or Hochhaide.
The only way to go to the starting points is by car (there are not public transport just to there).
So if somebody is interested on hiking there as well, we could try to rent a car or use your car if you have (of course, sharing the expenses).
I am living in Vienna right now, so we could meet here or in another point in the way where public transport arrives.
So are there anybody interested in mountains? :)
Taking advantage of the great weather, I am going to do this route:
It is 20km with 2500m of positive cumulative altitude.
I plan to do it on the next Sunday (but we can change it to Saturday if people prefer it).
I'll rent a car and drive from Vienna to there. I plan to departure at around 7:00 from the 2nd District and start the hike at 9:30.
The cost of the car plus the gas will be around 90€. So if we go two people it will be 45€ and so on :)
So, come on, does anyone want to enjoy of the good weather with a route in the mountains?
