is it easy to find a job in New zealand?

Hello there!

that would be really appreciated if someone can provide me with some information about new zealand! cos i want to move there for few months and i was wondering if i can find job there easy or it is hard ? if people at this group told me yes it is easy i will just book my ticket :D , my major is Law , thanks anyway

I'm living in Iran but i have some info about NZ.
You can find your job on www.seek.co.nz and www.trademe.co.nz
Although it's depend on your qualification and work experience.
I'm a Web Designer and luckily there is a lot of job position for me.
But i think it is difficult for obtaining job offer from NZ .

No, i didn't get any job offer.
i just searching in SEEK or TRADEME and from what i saw there is many job position.
And i didn't send any CV to employers, because i have Iranian resident and i have not NZ resident.

That's a little harsh and somewhat inaccurate. It really depends on what your skill set is and if it's needed here. Yes it's unfortunate that the Silver Fern visa only applies to people under 30. BUT if you have a profession that is on the long term shortage list you may have a chance at getting here in the skilled migrant category...

and there's also the partnership visa via the family stream category which in not age specific.

I'm 43 and after 2 months in NZ have been offered a job and hopefully will settle here. You have to be skilled, determined and get over here and work hard to network and find a job. There's nothing wrong with doing that.
