I went to Egypt last year and I can say it has been the best trip of my life! I had such a wonderful time there, not only because all the beautiful monuments and landscapes but because the people is AMAZING! I can't wait to go there again! I made lots of things on your list (which by the way it's pretty good) and I hope I can complete it next year ;)

I will just say what everyone else has already said. This was such a great post. What a nice idea for first time visitors.
I can't think of anything else I would add except possibly the Friday bicycle ride in Alexandria, I enjoyed that so much.
Made me miss Egypt so very much.

this taxi is the best way to move inside cairo as it has a meter, but make sure that the driver turn it on



we have another shape of taxi without meter, so this one in the picture is the best

Dear all

I am tunisian girl, and i am coming to cairo in 2 weeks

So could you help me with original places i can visit mainly in the afternoon & night , as i will e working in the morning?
I am coming from 11th TO 19th of May,
Also i might need to book a cheap hotel for two nights (18 & 19)
so what would you recoommand? I need a safe area where i can apreciate the neighbehood
