Hello, Paris! =)

I teach Yôga. Are you still in Cape Town?

My page is in portuguese because Iam brazilian, but google can help you ;)

SwáSthya Yôga, which is a part of DeRose Method, is based on ancient traditions, from the pre-classical period. It uses knowledge and techniques that are more than 5000 years old.

The purpose of the initial stage of the method is to prepare the student for the evolutionary process that happens in the later stages, samádhi, or hyperconsciousness. The result of the initial preparation is strengthening of the biological structure, increase of vitality and increased awareness.

SwáSthya has three main characteristics: it is an extremely complete practice that has eight parts; it introduces to the students the general rules of execution; and finally the student executes the techniques (ásanas, mudrás, bandhas, etc.) which unfold as linked sequences or choreographies.
