Hi there¡
I’m visiting SF the following days (8th to 18th) for the first time, and it would be great to meet some local people and travelers to hanging out at the city. If anyone interested, please drop me a line¡
Also, I’ll really appreciate some recommendation of nice, funny (and cheap¡) bar, club or places to eat from San Fran residents. I’m planning going to Castro this Friday 8th and would be great know some of your favs places =)

Hello Emmanuel,
I see you're looking for a host in SF. We can't host you this week but starting the 14th, we can for a few days. We actually have a small spare apartment that you could use next door. Our building in the center of the City in a neighborhood called Hayes Valley, so it's very convenient. Also, if you like to bicycle, we have extra ones here you could use. Finally, since I'm an architect, I believe as a conservator we probably have some interests in common---besides being gay.
Speaking of which, you were asking about bars. I don't go to the Castro much myself. I just don't like it much. But I would suggest you check out Aunt Charlie's Lounge in the Tenderloin on a Thursday night. There's a great DJ and a really fun crowd there that night. If that interests you, I'd be happy to go with you on the 14th.

Even if you don't stay with us, if you want give me a call or shoot an email when you get settled. I'd be happy to give you more tips on stuff to see and do. And you are welcome to use one of the bikes too.

Best,
Robin

Hello Robin,
Many thanks for your warm response¡ I really appreciate your hospitality and of course I’d be happy to meet up with you. I will send you a message soon, so we can talk a bit more about dates and so on. And yeah¡ I’m sure that besides our common interests you have a lot of stories and recommendations about SF, CS and your travels that I’d love to hear =)
I'll talk to you soon¡

Hi Emmanuel,
You are most welcome. Looking forward to meeting. Starting Friday I will be away until Tuesday so if you write and don't hear from me that's why.
Best,
Robin
PS. Another place you might check out is the Eagle bar on 12th & Harrison, which can be fun on a Sunday afternoon. Also, if you like Salsa, Sunday afternoon at El Rio is also a lot of fun.

Hi Emmanuel-I am returning to SF on the 13th. Let me know how you are doing for couches and people to hang out and explore with.

In the Castro Cafe Flore is good fun for inexpensive food and an outside table on a sunny day. They are located at 2298 Market Street & Noe Street. Good breakfast, lunch and dinner.
