you joined the Berlin-Sustainability-Group - excellent - so happy about that!
My name is Verena and I created this group in January this year because in my opinion NOW is the time to shift more attention to this topic that became unavoidably and irrevocably so important for all of us.
Yet what are we going to make out of this?
Probably everyone has another answer to that question based on individual interests and experiences.
To me personally "informing" or "spreading the word" about sustainable projects and how one is able to participate is very important.
This is because I found that on the one hand there are a lot of possibilities to engage and on the other hand there are a lot of people who want to get engaged but somehow sometimes it is not that easy for those two to get together.
However, that is just my interest and I am looking forward to hearing about your ideas and deciding togehter what we are going to DO in practice "for more sustainability and alternatives" in Berlin. :)
So what about a nice vegan brunch on Sunday, 4th of March at 11 am Bandito Rosso? The Bandito Rosso is a former squat in Prenzlauer Berg and now a self-governed and non-commercial place offering Vokü (German abbreviation for Volksküche; the idea of Volksküche is cooking the same dish for a lot of people and this way making a good meal more affordable for everyone), "Tatort" and the Vegan-"Schlemmer"-Brunch on Sundays. In my opinion it is an interesting venue and the brunch is said to be delicious.
What do you say?
