How we get from the 1st to the 2nd meeting - thanks everyone!

Hey all,

first of all a bigwarmhearty THANK YOU to everyone who joined the 1st meeting of this group last Sunday.

We talked about very different subjects and I hope everyone felt like having the chance to share own stories and opinions.

Well, talking was nice BUT what happens now?

I find that after all the talking on Sunday I don't quite remember
specific names and locations of projects that were recommended to me. So I'd like to suggest that everyone states again his special field of interest including i.e. links to concrete projects so that everyone gets the information.

You could even start a new thread about your topic, let's say "Urban Gardening" and then all the info about Urban Gardening could go there and is findable for everyone. Would be sad if all this info existed without being found!
If you have a better idea of categorizing information I'll definitely be very happy to hear about that! Remember when you start a thread please give it a meaningful name so that people know what it is about and get interested.

For the beginning I'll start a thread now about where to find information concerning how to join sustainable and social projects since I myself am most interested in social sustainability and I'll keep the thread updated continously. So please be patient if there is not too much information at the beginning as it is not always too easy to find "hubs" of social information. (That is why I started this project of mine and I'm hoping for good progress. :) )

If you feel uncomfortable starting a new thread just post your info here - thank you!

Cheers,
Verena

Forgot this:

Finally we can decide together where the next meeting will take place and what we are going to do then.

Someone already recommended going to an open garden together and help out there - what do you say?

An open garden sounds like a really lovely idea!
