Hello! - Need some advice.
I am visiting Cape town for the first time.
Really excited about it, but heard horror stories of people snatching away ur camera and stuff. I'm a single female traveller and growing sceptical with every story.
I'm considering buying a Point & shoot and not bringing a Dslr to remain inconspicuous.. Is this necessary??
I would really like to join a photowalk .. if there is any happening next week??
Also on a side note, anyone has the free time to hang out.. or just go sightseeing for photography... Would like to meet people and make friends and come back with good memories.
Please let me know.
I would be keen too, I generally cannot do the week unless we did a lunch time thing.
It would be great as in a group we would be fine. It is not like you need a security guard, just being in a group would mean you can keen an eye out for the little fsckers that would have anything not tied down. My Dad was an artist and even used to have his paint brushes nicked sometimes.
What do you think of a lunch time thing? Meet in town somewhere and make a 45 minute mission.
