we are young students from Poland and big fans of Sigur Rós. After watching "Heima" couple years ago we were impressed to visit this amazing island. There is an opportunity to achieve this. We are taking part in the travelling contest. All we ask is to vote for our application on this site http://www.miejodwage.pl/759. This is how to vote: first you have to enter your e-mail under the photo with three goats and click on "zagłosuj" which means "vote". Then confirm by clicking on the activation link which you get on your e-mail address don't afraid of spam, such a situation won't happen!).
Thank you for supporting us and hope to see you on Iceland!:)

The translation of the text from the copetition website:

"Heima" means "at home". This is the name of unusual tour which an Icelandic band Sigur Rós played at his homeland. Traveling in small towns, playing in community centers, in urban squares, abandoned buildings, or in the post-industrial landscape of mountains. The musicians performed for free and without notice. We want tofollow in their footsteps now, and visit the places where they presented their magnificent shows. Iceland is one of the most magical and interesting parts of the world. This island is one of the last places on Earth, which has preserved its rare and unusual landscape over the centuries. It can boasts of breathtaking waterfalls, geysers, volcanoes, lakes and mighty glaciers. For those looking for wildlife, natural beauty, fabulous scenery, crystal clear air, peace and quiet, and such people we are, Iceland is a perfect direction of travel. We believe this trip could help us to experience a catharsis and get to know each other better. Maybe during our stay in the Land of Icewe will finally feel like we were at home indeed?

Also, if you are afraid of getting spammed you can use something like: http://10minutemail.com/

Creates a "fake" e-mail account for 10 minutes (you can extend it by another 10 mins). Just use ctrl/cmd(for Mac)+R to refresh once you have an address and the msg will pop up there.

That's what I did ;)
