camping at the end of October

Greeting )))
My Mom and I are going to spend about 10 days in Hong Kong. As we do love the Nature, we decided to live in a tent.
I have a couple of questions about the camp sides. Which one would be the best (the beauty, drinkable water, less crowded)?
Do you have to pay for camping and if so how much is it?
Is it allowed to make a fire?
Will be very thankful for the information.
Have a wonderful day
Smiles ))))

Tai Long Sai is the best choice for me! One of the beautiful beaches in HK. There are public toilets and some stores to buy drinks and foods. But you need to have a 30min hiking after taking the minibus/taxi to Sai Wan Pavilion terminal. Not many people going there. You can go to see the waterfall near to the beach, it's really nice.
Tap Mun ( Grass Island ) is another choice. It's easy to reach there. You can have a great sea view on the grassland. But many people go there during weekend.
All the country parks are free for entry! Actually the country park are not allow to make a fire, but it doesn't matter. I did sometimes...

As they told you, the best place is Tai Long Wan, it's just little hard to reach it, i have been there last week but for only the beach not for camping, but i really want to camp there.

It would be pleasure to join you whenever you arrive here.
