House party, spicy foods, ball pit

Hey there. I'm back from Playa del Fuego and am throwing a party at my home this Saturday as a way to calmly decompress. It's over in Uniondale (near Front St and Uniondale Ave, the intersection of two big bus lines), and the invite's pretty open for nice people.

The theme is "Fiery Fifteenth" I'm hopefully tossing together a nice spicy vindaloo and an outlay of ingredients for DIY Danish Tacos, a Long Island delicacy in some parts. I'll have some DEATH TEA on hand (because my slight sadist streak of late commands me to put an extremely spicy beverage next to the extremely spicy foods for those who have quick burn reflexes), and we'll figure out other things to put scotch bonnet seeds into. There's a grill, a fire pit, a media room and a 4'x4' ball pit for the funnin'. There will be sweet foods to offset the spicy, courtesy of a tiny birthday girl, and usually there's a fellow who comes along and bakes a homemade pizza pie.

Cookin' geeks are welcome to bring along their finest hot dishes. Gamers are welcome, as there are usually folks with boffers beating each other up around back. Feel free to bring anything you think will help keep the party running. Music is okay, though it's a residential area, so sound turndown will be pretty early. No streaking outside. Donations of tiny plastic balls would be incredibly appreciated, as the ball pit is quite popular but only has two thousand or so balls filling it at the moment, and I'm trying to build it up.

Crash space is available, but please bring your own soft surfaces if you need to sleep over, as I only have a couch and maybe a couple air mattresses on hand.

Message me for address and directions. :)
